In a serious indoor grow, smell is the first thing that gives a room away. The PureFilter Ø200 mm activated carbon filter captures the volatile organic compounds released during flowering and returns clean air at the extraction outlet. Rated for a maximum airflow of 1125 m³/h, it serves the largest grow spaces without ever throttling your ventilation.

Activated carbon does not absorb odours, it adsorbs them. Its microporous structure creates an enormous internal exchange surface where odour molecules bind as air passes through. The denser the carbon bed and the longer the contact time, the more complete the filtration. That is exactly the design logic behind the PureFilter Ø200: a carbon bed calibrated for 1125 m³/h, so air moves through the media slowly enough to be genuinely treated rather than simply pushed across it.
The baseline rule in indoor growing is to renew the entire volume of your grow room every one to three minutes. Multiply length × width × height of your tent for the volume in m³, then multiply by 30 to 60 depending on how much heat your lighting produces. Since the PureFilter Ø200 accepts up to 1125 m³/h, pair it with a Ø200 mm inline fan whose real-world airflow sits slightly below that figure. You keep a safety margin and, more importantly, an optimal contact time with the carbon.
The most effective layout suspends the filter inside the tent, strapped at the highest point and connected directly to the fan intake. Warm, odour-laden air is drawn through the carbon before being pushed out through the exhaust ducting. Running the filter on the intake side puts the whole circuit under negative pressure: even the small leaks around zips and cable ports pull air inwards instead of letting smell escape. Use a Ø200 mm duct clamp and check every joint for a proper seal.
Carbon filter longevity comes down to two things: the humidity of the air being treated and the number of running hours. Overly humid air saturates the carbon early, so keep your relative humidity under control. The fabric pre-filter slides off, rinses under clean water and goes back on once fully dry, which noticeably extends the working life of the cartridge.

The high-density activated carbon bed locks in the volatile organic compounds produced during flowering. Your exhaust air comes out neutral, with no masking agents and no substitute fragrance.
Built for large grow rooms and multi-light installations. It supports a Ø200 mm inline fan without introducing excessive static pressure loss.
No moving parts, no added noise. The filter works in complete silence and even slightly dampens fan roar before the air reaches the ducting.
The fabric sleeve comes off in seconds, rinses clean and slides straight back on. One simple maintenance habit that protects the carbon and extends filter life.
Compatible with every Ø200 mm inline fan, ducting and clamp on the market. Dropping it into an existing setup takes no adapter at all.
A Ø200 mm fan whose real-world airflow stays slightly below 1125 m³/h. That gives the air enough contact time with the carbon, which is essential for complete filtration. An oversized fan would push air through the media too quickly and let odours slip past.
Before, every time. Hang the filter inside the tent and let the fan draw through it. This negative-pressure layout guarantees that no smell escapes through zips or cable ports in your grow room.
It depends on your conditions: daily running hours, humidity and odour load. Controlled humidity and a regularly cleaned pre-filter noticeably extend service life. A clear drop in odour control performance is the signal that replacement is due.
Yes. Slide it off the filter body, rinse it under clean water without harsh detergent, then let it dry completely before refitting. Never put a damp pre-filter back on: residual moisture reduces the efficiency of the activated carbon.
A properly sized filter is what makes an indoor grow completely discreet. The PureFilter Ø200 mm is the component that keeps your setup invisible to the neighbours, season after season.
