Odour control is one of the biggest challenges in indoor growing. The PureFilter Ø100 mm activated carbon filter sits upstream of your extractor fan and captures odour molecules before they ever leave your grow room. With 300 m3/h of rated airflow and a standard 100 mm collar, it is the go-to solution for compact spaces from 60x60 cm up to 100x100 cm. At BloomLED, LED horticultural lighting and indoor growing specialists for more than 10 years, we choose every ventilation component for how it performs in a real grow tent, not just for the numbers on the box.

The granular carbon bed provides an enormous adsorption surface. Volatile organic compounds responsible for odours are trapped as air passes through, with no chemical masking and no added fragrance. The exhausted air is genuinely scrubbed rather than perfumed.
The filter is sized to pair with a standard Ø100 mm extractor fan. That balance guarantees enough contact time between the air and the carbon: too fast and air slips through unfiltered, too slow and your grow room starts to overheat.
The 100 mm collar accepts every standard ducting run and inline fan on the market. Hang the filter from the top bars of your tent with straps, or stand it on the floor depending on how your ventilation loop is arranged.
The fabric sleeve stops dust and particles before they clog the carbon. A simple rinse extends filter life, typically 12 to 24 months in normal use depending on humidity levels and daily running hours.
An effective carbon filter is not an optional extra: it is what separates a discreet, healthy indoor grow from a space saturated with odours and stagnant humidity. Paired with a correctly sized extractor fan, this PureFilter Ø100 keeps your tent air clean around the clock.
It is sized for compact spaces: grow tents of 60x60 cm, 80x80 cm and up to 100x100 cm with a standard 180 to 200 cm height. The practical rule is to exchange the full volume of your space roughly 30 to 60 times per hour. For a 1 m3 tent, 300 m3/h leaves a comfortable margin, even during hot spells or when flowering pushes odour output higher.
Typical service life runs from 12 to 24 months depending on running hours, humidity and how well you maintain the pre-filter. High humidity saturates carbon faster. The most reliable end-of-life signal is your nose: when odours start getting through despite a healthy fan and a clean pre-filter, it is time to replace the filter.
Both layouts work, but we recommend placing the filter on the intake side, before the fan: air is scrubbed first and then pushed through the ducting, which limits odour leaking from duct joints. Hang it high, where warm loaded air collects, and always leave a few centimetres of clearance around the filter body.
