In an indoor grow, odour is the one variable you cannot fix after the fact. The Pure Factory PF carbon filter traps volatile organic compounds on the first pass, using virgin Australian RC412 carbon steam-activated at high temperature. 🌬️ Steam-activated RC412 carbon

Virgin Australian RC412 carbon offers markedly higher porosity and iodine number than reconstituted grades. Odour molecules are captured on the very first pass, even at peak flowering load.

🪶 Perforated aluminium housing

The perforated aluminium shell delivers lasting rigidity at just 3 kg. It hangs effortlessly inside a grow tent and puts almost no strain on the frame or hanging points.

🛡️ Two pre-filters supplied

The pre-filters stop dust and particles before they can clog the carbon bed. A regular rinse is all it takes to extend filter life considerably and cut your running costs.

⚙️ Controlled airflow, never choked

With a pressure drop of only 100 to 250 Pa, airflow loss stays between 5 and 15%. Your extractor keeps its useful power and the grow room air exchange rate stays where it should be.

Which extractor fan should I pair with this Ø125 mm filter?

A 400-550 m³/h fan is ideal. Because air has to pass through the carbon bed, always allow some headroom: a 500 m³/h fan will deliver roughly 425-475 m³/h once the filter is fitted, which comfortably covers a 120 x 120 cm tent.

How long before it needs replacing?

Expect around 12 months under normal conditions, meaning temperatures below 40 °C and relative humidity under 70%. Two signs are unmistakable: a persistent odour returning at the duct outlet, or a clear drop in extraction airflow.

Should it go before or after the fan?

Fit it on the intake side, upstream of the fan. Air is scrubbed before it reaches the impeller, which protects the fan and keeps noise down. Seal the connection with a duct clamp — even a small leak is enough to let odours escape.
