ThinkGrow LRC-1 — manual Smart Lifter control

Within a ThinkGrow lifting system, the LRC-1 is the manual control interface for the LLT-1 motor unit. Its wired connection provides direct up and down commands. The remote is rated at 12 V DC and 0.1 A; these values describe the control unit and must not be confused with the lifter’s mains input. An ECS-9 cable is included with the remote. Advanced functions involving a Hydro-X Pro HCS-2 require the appropriate additional equipment and are separate from ordinary manual movement.

Organising connections and components

Distinguish the power needed by the motor from the signal carrying the movement command. A control cable never replaces the mains lead. Use the connections intended for each device and plan their routes over the full working travel. When selecting the components, account for the cables already supplied: ECS-7 with the LLT-1 and ECS-9 with the LRC-1. Basic up and down operation does not require a climate-control centre. If Hydro-X Pro integration is planned, check the additional components needed for advanced functions separately before treating the system design as complete.

Can the LRC-1 lift a lamp without another device?

No: the LLT-1 performs the movement, while the remote provides the command. The LRC-1 includes its ECS-9 cable but does not include a lifting motor, lighting fixture or suspension structure.
