Which tent size is this extractor designed for?
The Ø150 760 m³/h is rated for 1.2 × 1.2 m and 1.5 × 1.5 m tents (up to roughly 3.4 m³). For larger volumes, or once you add a carbon filter inline (≈30 % airflow loss), step up to our Ø160 mm 800 m³/h or an EC-TC model.
Can I connect it to a carbon filter?Absolutely — and we strongly recommend it for odour control. Pick a Ø150 mm carbon filter rated ≥ 600 m³/h. The extractor + filter + ducting chain is typically installed in pull configuration at the top of the tent.
How quiet is it really?At 39 dB(A) at 1 m it is significantly quieter than entry-level extractors. For maximum attenuation, add Ø150 acoustic ducting, rubber suspension straps and a soundproof box if the tent shares a wall with a living area.
What is the difference vs the Thermo Controller version?This 1-speed version runs at constant airflow. The Thermo Controller (TC) version includes a probe that automatically modulates the fan speed based on tent temperature — useful to save energy and reduce noise outside heat peaks.
