What type of water should I use?

The unit accepts distilled, tap or well water with no filter or consumable. Distilled water is nonetheless preferable: it limits limescale deposits on the ceramic discs, eases maintenance and preserves the fineness of the mist over time. Regular cleaning of the discs keeps their performance at its best.

Do I really need a float?

The recommended immersion depth is 3 to 5 cm. Since the water level drops with evaporation, using a float (sold separately) is strongly advised to automatically maintain this ideal height, guarantee a constant output and protect the discs from running dry.

How do I maintain the ceramic discs?

Regular cleaning is required to prevent limescale build-up that reduces output. As the discs are individually replaceable, you can change only the worn ones rather than the whole unit. Using low-limescale water and emptying standing water between cycles extends their lifespan even further.

Are the transformer and cable included?
