ThinkGrow ECS-7 — 3.66 m signal connection

The ECS-7 belongs to the signal side of a ThinkGrow system. At approximately 3.66 m long, it provides a control connection between compatible devices, subject to the actual cable route. Plan that route before selecting the connection: the straight-line distance between enclosures may be shorter than the cable path after turns and routing points. An ECS-7 is already supplied with the LLT-1 Smart Lifter. An additional cable should therefore serve an identified replacement or extra-connection requirement, rather than duplicate the original contents.

Organising connections and components

Show the connection on the wiring plan and identify its origin and destination. This helps distinguish power leads from control links, especially where several devices sit close together. Leave access to the sockets so the cable can be disconnected for replacement. If the planned route exceeds the available length, reconsider the equipment positions or find an explicitly compatible solution. This listing does not claim unlimited extension or compatibility with every TrolMaster interface. The cable’s role remains the transmission of the signal specified by the connected devices.

Is this the cable for plugging a light directly into a mains socket?

No: it carries a control signal and does not replace a mains lead. The nominal length is originally expressed in feet. Twelve feet is approximately 3.66 metres, not 12 metres.
