The SpectraWILD M500 PRO is the six-bar LED kit BloomLED recommends to growers who measure their results. 500 watts spread across a 100 x 100 cm footprint, a full spectrum built on Samsung LM301H diodes and enriched with Osram 660 nm red, and two independent channels so the light follows your plants through every stage. Engineered to last, backed by a five-year brand-new replacement warranty.

Bar architecture is what separates modern horticultural lighting from a glorified floodlight. By spreading 500 watts across six evenly spaced bars, the SpectraWILD M500 PRO eliminates the central hotspot that single-block panels inevitably create. PPFD stays even from one edge of the tent to the other, which in practice means plants sitting in the corners receive an intensity comparable to those in the middle. No more airy corner colas next to bleached centre tops.
That distribution has a second, often underrated consequence: canopy penetration. A source spread across six axes lights the lower tiers from several angles, whereas a single panel casts a hard shadow from the very first layer of leaves. On a SCROG or LST-trained canopy, that difference translates directly into usable flowering sites further down the plant, and therefore into a higher yield for the same wattage at the wall.
Finally, the bars cool passively. No fans, no moving parts, no noise, no dust building up on a heatsink. Heat is shed along the full length of the aluminium profiles, which keeps diode junction temperature low and preserves luminous flux over years of cycles. That is the engineering reason BloomLED is able to commit to a five-year brand-new replacement warranty on this model.

Full spectrum is not a marketing slogan; it is a specific composition of wavelengths, each tied to a documented physiological response in the plant. The M500 PRO combines four diode families, and every one of them has a job that can be explained and verified.
Samsung LM301H diodes form the foundation. These extremely efficient white LEDs deliver a broad output across most of the PAR range, and they drive vegetative development: leaf area, branching, root system, stem rigidity. This is the background light that builds the frame your flowering will later hang on.
The Osram 660 nm red diodes target the chlorophyll absorption peak. They raise net photosynthetic efficiency and play a direct role in flower initiation, cytokinin production and the concentration of photosynthetic pigments such as carotenoids. This is the channel you push once you flip to 12/12.
Far red at 730 nm acts on the phytochrome system and promotes auxin production, the hormone involved in elongation, flowering and ripening. Used with restraint, it tightens and densifies the flower sites. The 216 ultraviolet diodes at 395 nm complete the picture by stimulating the plant's natural defences: under controlled UV stress, plants produce more flavonoids, terpenes and protective compounds, which shapes aromatic quality as much as pest resilience.
The PRO version splits control into two independent channels. You lean on the white channel through veg to build a compact frame, then shift the balance towards red for bloom. That flexibility avoids the classic trap of a fixed spectrum, which forces you to choose between good vegetation and good flowering. The light follows the plant's calendar rather than the other way round.
An efficacy of 2.9 micromoles per joule places the M500 PRO at the top end of the market. Every watt drawn is converted into usable photons at a rate older LED generations and HPS simply cannot match. Across a full cycle the gap shows up directly on your electricity bill, and the heat you never generate is load your extraction never has to remove.
The M500 PRO is calibrated for a 100 x 100 cm tent in optimal use, stretching to 120 x 120 cm if you accept slightly lower PPFD at the edges. The six bars span the full width of the tent and cover the footprint without dead zones. The supplied rope-ratchet hanging kit lets you fine-tune height centimetre by centimetre as the canopy rises.
IP65 rating protects the bars against dust and water splashes. In a tent where you mist, where relative humidity regularly climbs past 70% in veg, and where watering happens daily, that protection is not a luxury. The remote waterproof driver can be mounted outside the humid zone to cut internal heat load even further.
The M500 PRO connects to the SmartWILD WiFi controller, sold separately. From there you programme sunrise and sunset ramps, per-channel dimming curves, and integrate lighting into a full grow automation setup that also handles temperature and humidity. Automation removes timer mistakes and smooths transitions, something experienced growers value highly.
BloomLED backs the SpectraWILD M500 PRO with a five-year brand-new replacement warranty. No repairs, no waiting on spare parts: a covered fault means a replacement unit. That policy is only possible because the product was selected for mechanical and thermal reliability, and it guarantees continuity of production across years of cycles.
A good fixture badly set up will underperform a modest one run properly. With the M500 PRO the rule is to modulate. The 500W maximum is a ceiling, not a setting. Through cloning and early veg, reduced intensity and a high hanging position are more than enough; pushing full power too early causes light stress, bleached apexes and stalled growth.
Through established veg you lower the bars gradually and raise the white channel. In bloom you give full power and reinforce the red, watching how the canopy reacts over the three days following each change. The plants tell you the correct setting themselves: slightly raised leaves in a deep green signal an appropriate intensity, while curled margins or interveinal bleaching signal excess.
Keep the wider environment coherent as well. High light intensity is only usable if CO2, leaf temperature and irrigation keep up. Raising light without adjusting the rest simply moves the limiting factor elsewhere. That is exactly the reasoning the BloomLED team applies when advising on sizing: the light is one link in a chain, never a standalone fix.
Six Samsung LM301H bars, two dimmable channels, 2.9 µmol/J and a five-year brand-new replacement warranty: the SpectraWILD M500 PRO is the investment BloomLED recommends for a 100 x 100 cm tent run seriously, cycle after cycle.
The optimal footprint is 100 x 100 cm: across that area PPFD stays even and sufficient from the centre out to the corners. You can stretch it to 120 x 120 cm, but edge intensity drops and perimeter plants will develop a little more slowly. For a 120 x 120 tent run at full output, step up to a more powerful model or add a second fixture.
Plan on roughly 50 to 60 cm in early veg at reduced power, then move down towards 35 to 45 cm in bloom at full output. The supplied rope-ratchet kit makes fine adjustments easy. Watch the canopy for three days after every drop: the plant, not a theoretical chart, validates the setting.
No. The M500 PRO runs perfectly standalone on a simple timer. The SmartWILD WiFi controller, sold separately, adds programmed per-channel dimming, sunrise and sunset ramps, and integration into a complete grow automation system. It is a convenience and a precision gain, not a condition of operation.
At comparable light output the M500 PRO draws noticeably less and sheds far less heat, which eases the load on your extraction and makes summer temperatures manageable. Add diode lifespan, no annual bulb replacement, and a tunable spectrum an HPS cannot offer. The higher purchase price pays itself back over the following cycles.
You receive the six M500 PRO horticultural bars, the waterproof driver, the mounting frame with its rope-ratchet hanging kit, the EU power cable, the link cable and the manual. The kit is ready to use: nothing else is needed to install and switch on, apart from the SmartWILD controller if you want remote control.
