The SpectraBULB X55 emits a balanced light spectrum with peaks in the blue range (420-470 nm) and red range (620-660 nm), plus measured doses of UV and infrared. The result: successful cuttings, vegetative growth and flowering phases with a single bulb — no need to swap hardware between stages.
⚡ LED energy efficiency
55W replaces 150-200W HPS fixtures: your electricity bill stays reasonable (about €0.20 per day during vegetative phase) and your grow tent generates very little heat. Ideal in an apartment where air conditioning isn't an option.

Is this kit really suitable for a beginner?
Yes — that's its core purpose. Unlike kits that require configuring a ballast, selecting a cable, or pairing an HPS bulb with a compatible reflector, here everything has been selected and pre-assembled by our team. You receive three components, install them in the order described in the included guide, and your grow tent is operational. We simply recommend adding a timer (see complementary products) to automate day/night cycles.
How many plants can I grow in a 60x60 tent?The 0.36 m² tent is sized for 1 to 2 plants in 11 to 18-litre pots, depending on training method. For SOG (Sea of Green, small and numerous plants), you can reach 4 plants in 5-7 litre pots. The SpectraBULB X55 effectively covers this surface with sufficient light intensity from start to finish.
Does the SpectraBULB X55 heat up like an HPS?No, and that's precisely the advantage of horticultural LED technology. The SpectraBULB X55 generates about 3 to 4 times less heat than an equivalent 150W HPS. In a normally ventilated 60x60 tent (inline fan not included, to be added if the room is confined), temperature stays between 22 and 27°C without special intervention.
What distance should I keep between the bulb and plants?For the SpectraBULB X55 in its dedicated reflector, we recommend 25-40 cm above the canopy during vegetative phase, and 30-50 cm during flowering. Adjust by observing your plants: curling leaves = too close, stretched internodes = too far. The tent's rope ratchet system allows centimetre-precision adjustments in seconds.
What else do I need for a complete grow?This kit covers lighting and environment. For a complete grow cycle you'll add: a timer (mechanical or digital depending on desired precision), an inline fan if your room is poorly ventilated, a small oscillating fan to circulate air inside the tent, pots and substrate, and nutrients suited to your phase.
