The SpectraBULB X30 V2 packs everything serious indoor growing demands into the simplest form factor there is — a bulb. 35 W of real power draw, a full spectrum driven by OSRAM OSLON SSL diodes, and an E27 socket that screws in anywhere. No ballast, no external driver, no wiring to plan.

The full spectrum is the heart of this bulb. Where many budget grow bulbs settle for a purplish red-and-blue mix, the SpectraBULB X30 V2 delivers a continuous spectrum spanning blue, green, yellow and deep red. In practice your plants receive a coherent light signal across the whole cycle: blue builds compact tissue and curbs stretching during vegetative growth, while deep red triggers and sustains flowering. With a CRI of 70 the light stays natural enough that you can spot a deficiency, a discolouration or the first sign of pests with the naked eye — something purple-only fixtures make almost impossible.
The diode choice is not cosmetic. OSRAM OSLON SSL are industrial-grade LEDs, known for stable output and very low degradation over time. That is what underpins the 50,000-hour lifespan: at 12 hours a day, that is more than eleven years of growing. This longevity also rests on thermal management. Heat is an LED's first enemy, and the SpectraBULB X30 V2 integrates an active fan that carries it away continuously instead of letting it slowly cook the diodes. The result is a bulb that holds its intensity cycle after cycle, rather than quietly fading after a few months.
In use, the SpectraBULB X30 V2 covers 50×50 cm in vegetative growth and 40×40 cm in flower, hung 20 to 60 cm above the canopy. It suits a small 40×40 or 60×60 cm tent, a propagation tray, supplementary lighting in a larger space, or simply houseplants starved of light through winter. Work at around 20 cm for maximum intensity on robust flowering plants, and 40 to 60 cm for seedlings and cuttings that are still fragile. It is not dimmable: you set intensity through distance, which remains the most reliable and most readable method for a grower.

Blue, green, yellow and deep red in one continuous spectrum, usable from cutting to harvest. No need to swap bulbs between vegetative growth and flowering.
Industrial-grade LEDs chosen for efficiency and stability. They hold their output where generic diodes start losing punch within the first few cycles.
A fan removes heat continuously, protecting the diodes and underwriting the rated 50,000 hours. It is the difference between a bulb that lasts and one that dies early.
Standard E27 socket, corded supply, no ballast and no external driver. Screw it into any E27 fitting and you are lighting immediately.
Specified by our own team, drawing on more than 10 years of indoor growing expertise, and backed by a 2-year warranty with real technical support behind it.
Expect 50×50 cm in vegetative growth and 40×40 cm in flower. Flowering demands higher intensity, so the usable footprint tightens. For a 60×60 cm tent in flower, two bulbs work far better than one.
Between 20 and 60 cm from the canopy. Drop towards 20 cm for robust flowering plants that want maximum intensity, and stay at 40 to 60 cm for seedlings and cuttings. If the top leaves curl or bleach, raise the bulb a few centimetres.
Yes, over a small footprint: one or two plants in a 40×40 cm tent, a propagation tray, or houseplants. Beyond that, add light points rather than expecting one bulb to cover a large area. That is precisely the appeal of the E27 format — you scale up bulb by bulb.
No. The SpectraBULB X30 V2 is not dimmable and should not be wired to a dimmer, which risks damaging its electronics. Adjust intensity through hanging distance instead: it is simpler and it alters neither the spectrum nor diode lifespan.
The E27 format changes how you build a lighting setup: start with a single bulb at €89.90, then add light points as your growing space grows — without ever buying another ballast, driver or hanging system.
