How large a grow area can this kit light?
The SpectraBULB X15 is optimised for roughly 40 × 40 cm, ideal for a small space, a grow shelf or a few plants in growth. For a larger area, choose a SpectraBULB X20 or X30 kit instead.
Do I need to add a timer?
It isn't mandatory but strongly recommended. A mechanical or digital timer automates your light cycles (18 h/day in veg, 12 h/day in bloom) so you never have to switch the light on and off by hand.
How high should I hang the bulb?
Hang the bulb 20 to 30 cm above your plant canopy using the 100 cm E27 cable, then raise it as your plants grow to keep the light intensity ideal.
