What is the difference between the Propagator and the standard Dark Street Wide?

The Propagator version has a light-tight internal divider that splits the tent into two independent chambers: an upper compartment (≈ 120 cm usable height) for mothers and a lower compartment (≈ 60 cm) for cloning. The standard 120×60×178 cm version (ref. 721) is a single chamber with no divider.

What LED wattage do you recommend for the upper chamber?

For one or two mother plants in vegetation, a 80-150 W (true draw) horticultural LED is plenty. Favour a spectrum rich in blue (4000-6500 K) to keep internodes short and cuttings vigorous. Our BloomLED team can guide you toward the E27 SpectraBULB range or a dedicated 60 cm LED bar.

Do I need a dedicated extractor per chamber?

Ideally, yes. Each compartment has its own ventilation flaps; for strict photoperiod cycles, install a small quiet extractor in the cloning chamber and a more powerful one for the mother chamber. As a minimum, a single extractor at the top with a circulation fan in the lower chamber works fine.

How long does assembly take and how DIY-friendly is it?

Allow 25 to 40 minutes for first-time assembly, no tools required, following the illustrated manual. The frame clips together, the canvas attaches via Velcro and zips. Teardown and storage in the supplied bag take under 10 minutes once you know the routine.

Is the tent compatible with a hydroponic system?

Yes — the Dark Street Wide Propagator happily accommodates a mini DWC, a compact NFT system or humidome propagation trays in the lower chamber. The 30 kg frame easily handles full water loads. Just protect the inner floor with a drip tray.
