Suspend the assembly with elastic straps such as Easy-Rollers to absorb micro-vibrations and limit sound transmission. Make sure to keep a sufficiently large passive air intake (grille, ducting) on the opposite side of the extraction: that's the key to effective negative pressure, your guarantee of zero odor outside the grow space.

What grow tent size is the 800 m³/h suitable for?
This extractor fits grow spaces up to about 1 m² (typically 100×100×200 cm). Classic sizing: tent volume × 60 air changes/h, then +25% to compensate for the carbon filter pressure drop. For a 120×120 tent, prefer the Ø200 mm or a 2-speed model to modulate. Beyond that, look at the PK200 range.
Is the Prima Klima 160 mm extractor quiet?The PK160-L is one of the most discreet AC extractors in its class thanks to its polyamide housing. For use in shared accommodation, we recommend pairing it with a 50 cm Ø160 mm silencer and elastic suspensions. Installed this way, its operation remains very acceptable — even at night in an adjacent room.
Is it compatible with a carbon filter?Yes — it is designed to run on suction via a Ø160 mm activated carbon filter (Prima Klima, Rhino, CarbonActive, etc.). Direct coupling is done with an insulated flexible duct. With a Ø160/150 mm adapter, you can also use it with the common Ø150 mm filters available on the growshop market.
Why a 1-speed model rather than variable?The 1-speed version offers maximum reliability and optimal constant airflow — no control electronics to wear out.
