Your questions about the Plug & Grow X640 kit

How many plants can I grow in 120 × 120 cm?

It depends on your method. In classic cultivation using 11 L pots, plan for 4 to 6 plants to give them room. In SOG or with smaller pots, you can push up to 9 plants. The X640 panel covers the whole area evenly whatever you choose.

Does the X640 panel work for both veg and flowering?

Yes. Its full spectrum was designed to cover the complete cycle. You never need to switch lamps between phases: the same panel carries your plants from clone through to harvest — you simply adjust the hanging height and the daily light duration.

What is the real power consumption?

The panel draws a maximum of 640 W at full power. Over a flowering cycle at 12 h of light per day, that works out to around 7.7 kWh daily. LED remains far more efficient than HPS for comparable light output, which lightens your bill over time.

What is in the kit and do I need anything else?

The kit combines the 120 × 120 cm grow tent and the X640 LED panel with its hanger. For a full grow you will just add air extraction (fan + carbon filter), pots and substrate to suit your preferences. Our team is on hand to advise you on the right complementary equipment.

How far should the panel sit from the plants?

Early in veg, keep the X640 fairly high, 40 to 50 cm above the canopy, to avoid light stress. Lower it gradually in bloom, to around 25 to 35 cm, to maximise the intensity received. The adjustable hanger supplied makes these tweaks easy throughout the cycle.
