Your horticultural LEDs use less power, last longer, and deliver a superior spectrum compared to old-school HPS lights. But they have one blind spot every indoor grower eventually discovers: they produce almost no heat. The moment ambient temperature drops below 18 °C (64 °F), photosynthesis slows, root uptake stalls, and your cycle falls behind — sometimes by entire weeks.
The Solea 250W Ultra-Flat Heater corrects this thermal imbalance without sacrificing a single square centimetre of floor space. A radiant film just 0.12 mm thick and weighing only 200 grams, it sticks directly onto the wall of your grow tent. No radiator wedged between pots, no noisy fan, no cables running across the floor. Just gentle, silent, uniform warmth that keeps your plants in their comfort zone.
A conventional fan heater inside a grow tent is a constant compromise: it takes up floor space, blows hot air straight onto foliage — causing drying and tip burn — and creates temperature swings between the airflow and dead zones behind pots. The Solea eliminates every one of these issues at the source.
Measuring 60 × 58 cm, the Solea mounts flat against the inner wall of your grow room using high-temperature adhesive tape. In an 80×80 or 100×100 cm tent, reclaiming the space a floor-standing radiator would occupy means room for an extra pot — or simply more freedom to work around your plants.
The Solea works by infrared radiation. The entire panel surface emits uniform warmth that spreads through natural convection: air in contact with the film rises, gradually blends with the surrounding air, and temperature climbs steadily throughout the entire volume. No drying air jets, no forgotten cold spots, no sudden thermal shock at power-on.
No moving parts means zero noise. No spinning fan, no clicking relay, no background hum. If your grow space is in a flat or a living area, the Solea works without ever giving itself away. Plug it in and forget about it.
The Solea isn't a rigid radiator — it's a flexible heating film you can roll up for storage between cycles or move from one tent to another in seconds. Installation requires no drilling, no brackets, no tools — just adhesive tape and a standard 230 V mains socket.
The 250-watt output is sized for spaces up to 8 m² — equivalent to a 120×240 cm tent or two 100×100 cm tents in the same room. For a propagator or a small cloning area, a 45 W EcoHeat tubular heater is a better fit. For a full greenhouse, pair the Solea with an EcoHeat Greenhouse 240 W to handle a larger volume.
The surface temperature reaches 65 °C — high enough for efficient heat transfer to the surrounding air, yet well below the ignition threshold of tent fabrics. Key tip: always mount the panel on the wall, a few centimetres away from pots and growing media. The Solea warms the air enveloping your plants, never the plants themselves through direct contact.
On its own, the Solea runs continuously — fine in some setups, wasteful in others. For truly optimised climate control, pair it with a programmable thermostat. Set 22–24 °C during the light period and 18–20 °C at night: the thermostat handles on/off cycling automatically. Your plants stay within their ideal range, and your electricity bill reflects only the energy actually needed.
A day/night differential of 4–6 °C benefits your plants. A swing of 10–12 °C — common in uninsulated rooms during winter — leads to condensation on leaves, plant stress, and mould development. Activated by a thermostat when the LEDs switch off, the Solea brings the differential back into the ideal range with zero manual intervention. It's this consistency that separates a stable grow from a risky one.
Cuttings and seedlings are the most cold-sensitive stages. Below 20 °C, rooting slows dramatically and success rates plummet. Positioned low on the wall of a dedicated seedling and cloning area, the Solea creates a stable microclimate between 22 and 25 °C that maximises your success rate, even when it's freezing outside.
Mount the panel on the lower section of the wall, ideally on the side where fresh air enters. Air warmed by the Solea rises naturally and blends with the incoming airflow — physics does the work for you. Keep an eye on humidity: any heat source dries the air slightly. If you're targeting 60–70 % relative humidity during vegetative growth, an ultrasonic humidifier will offset this effect and maintain the overall climate balance in your space.
Substrate, nutrients, genetics, electricity, weeks of patience — every grow cycle is a real investment. And it all hinges on one parameter many growers underestimate until their first winter under LEDs: thermal stability. The Solea 250W Ultra-Flat Heater secures that foundation with unmatched discretion: 0.12 mm thick, 200 g, zero noise, zero floor footprint, coverage up to 8 m².
Paired with a thermostat, it automates temperature regulation in your space day and night. Your plants stay in their comfort zone at all times, winter nights are no longer a risk factor, and your energy consumption stays proportional to actual demand.
