You've invested in a high-performance LED grow light to maximise your yields — but the moment your light cycle switches off, your grow tent becomes a climate trap. Modern LEDs, incredibly efficient at driving photosynthesis, produce virtually no residual heat. Temperature drops, relative humidity spikes, and VPD collapses: the perfect recipe for botrytis and powdery mildew.
The Solea 500W infrared heating panel was designed for this exact problem. Thinner than a credit card (0.12 mm thick), it mounts flat against your tent wall and delivers gentle, uniform heat without taking up a single centimetre of your growing space. No fan, no noise, no compromise.
A fan heater blasts hot air in one direction, creating temperature differences of 5 to 8°C between the top and bottom of your canopy. The substrate surface dries out prematurely, stomata close reflexively, and transpiration becomes erratic.
The Solea works the other way around. Its 120 × 58 cm surface emits infrared radiation that gradually and evenly warms solid masses — walls, pots, substrate. The root zone and canopy rise in temperature together, with no disruptive air currents. The result: steady transpiration and stable mineral uptake throughout the night.
VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is the climate parameter experienced growers monitor most closely. When nighttime temperature drops below 16°C, relative humidity can exceed 80% even in a properly ventilated tent. Conditions then become critical for mould, especially in late flowering when buds are dense.
By keeping your space between 18 and 22°C during the dark cycle, the Solea maintains a functional VPD and dramatically reduces pathogen risk — without any intervention on your part.
In a grow tent, every centimetre counts. A freestanding convector or oil-filled radiator hogs floor space and blocks access to your plants. The Solea weighs just 400 grams and attaches to the inner lining like a simple poster. Its flexibility allows it to follow the curved walls of certain tents. You retain 100% of your usable growing area for your pots.
No fan, no motor, no moving parts: the Solea produces absolutely zero noise. A decisive advantage if your setup is in a bedroom, office, or any living space. Once installed, you forget it's there.
500W of radiant power covers a volume of 5 to 10 m³ in an enclosed space. For a 120×120×200 cm tent (approximately 2.9 m³), this is more than enough to handle winter nights, even in an uninsulated garage where ambient temperature falls below 10°C.
For smaller spaces — 60×60 or 80×80 cm tents — the Solea would be overkill. Opt for a 45W EcoHeat tubular heater or an 80W model, purpose-built for small volumes.

Powered via 230V standard household outlet. Surface temperature does not exceed 65°C: sufficient for effective heat output, with no risk of foliage burns at a reasonable distance. No exposed heating elements, no incandescent parts — the fire risk is virtually nil.
It's 8 PM, your timer switches the LEDs off. Your tent sits in a garage at 8°C. Without supplemental heating, the internal temperature drops to 14°C within two hours — severe thermal stress, particularly during flowering. Plug the Solea into a programmable thermostat set to 20°C: the panel kicks in only when the temperature falls below the setpoint, then shuts off automatically. When the LEDs come back on in the morning, the thermostat takes over. Fully autonomous, zero monitoring.
Never run the Solea without a thermostat. 500W running continuously in a 3 m³ enclosed space will push temperatures beyond 35°C within minutes. A thermostat protects your plants and slashes your electricity bill by heating in short bursts only. It's a minimal investment that determines the entire system's effectiveness.
Temperature alone doesn't create a good climate. For a truly optimised environment, pair the Solea with an ultrasonic humidifier during vegetative growth (when your young plants need 60–70% RH) and properly sized extraction. Temperature, humidity, and air exchange form an inseparable trio: neglecting one destabilises the other two.
