CO₂ is the fuel of photosynthesis, and in a sealed room it is almost always the first ceiling you hit once lighting and feeding are dialled in. The Growbro CO₂ controller continuously measures ambient carbon dioxide and opens or closes your enrichment source to hold the target band. Why CO₂ enrichment moves the needle indoors

Outside air sits at roughly 400–450 ppm of CO₂. Inside a closed, brightly lit space, a dense canopy burns through that supply faster than ventilation replaces it. Concentration drops, stomata close and the plant plateaus — no matter how much horticultural LED power you are throwing at it. Lifting the room to 1000–1500 ppm through the photoperiod removes that ceiling and finally lets the PPFD you paid for do its job.

This is exactly why enrichment only makes sense alongside strong lighting and sane temperature control. An underlit room cannot use the extra carbon. A tent running a modern full-spectrum LED at high PPFD, on the other hand, gains real growth speed and flower density once CO₂ is stable.
