Yes, that is exactly its job. It has two independent 230V sockets: one switches on when RH falls below the setpoint (humidifier), the other when RH rises above it (dehumidifier). They are never active at the same time, which prevents any energy conflict.
What maximum load can each outlet handle?Each outlet handles a standard 230V appliance within the typical range of a consumer humidifier or dehumidifier. For high-power industrial models, check the manufacturer specs and consider a separate breaker-protected circuit.
What humidity setpoint should I pick for flowering?In flowering, aim for 40–50% RH to limit botrytis risk. Dropping to 40% in late flower encourages resin production. In vegetation, target 55–65% RH. For cuttings and early veg, 70–80% RH is recommended.
