Frequently asked questions
Does it work without WiFi?
Yes. Over Bluetooth 5.0 BLE it talks straight to your phone within range of the grow room, no network needed. The 2.4 GHz WiFi path (via a Tuya gateway) is what lets you check readings when you are away from home.
Will it survive the humidity of a grow tent?
It reads up to 100% RH and is designed for the damp environment of an indoor grow. Just keep it away from direct water contact and foliar spray — mount it clear of misters and humidifier outlets.
Where should I position it in the tent?
At canopy height, midway between the grow light and the plants, out of the extractor's direct airflow and out of the lamp's direct radiation. That is where the reading actually reflects what your plants experience.
