Why the 120x120 footprint works so well

The 120x120 cm square is the most balanced format in indoor growing. It matches the coverage of a 200 to 320 W LED grow light almost exactly, which means an even PPFD from the centre right out to the corners, with no dead zones and no light burn in the middle of the canopy.

The 200 cm total height leaves generous room to hang your light, mount a carbon filter up high and let your plants stretch through early flower. In practical terms that is 2.88 m³ of air volume to manage, a figure worth remembering when you size your extractor fan.

400D mylar: lightproofing that pays for itself in yield

The 400D oxford outer shell blocks light completely. Total lightproofing is non-negotiable in flower: even a small leak during the dark period disrupts photoperiodism and can trigger a revert to veg or hermaphroditism.

The interior is fully lined with highly reflective mylar, giving 12.5 m² of reflective surface at 95 to 99% efficiency. Every photon your grow light emits is bounced back towards the canopy instead of being absorbed by the walls: for the same wattage at the plug, you gain usable PAR and therefore yield.

Sizing your equipment correctly

For 2.88 m³ of volume, aim for an extractor fan capable of 40 to 60 air changes per hour, which works out at roughly 180 to 250 m³/h of real-world airflow once a carbon filter is fitted. On the lighting side, a 200 to 320 W LED panel covers the footprint properly, and the frame will take up to 600 W for growers chasing maximum output.

Assembly and getting started

Assembly needs no tools: the poles push into the corner connectors, the fabric slides over the frame and closes with zips. Allow 20 to 30 minutes with two people for a comfortable build.

Once up, the Pure Tent Lite becomes a sealed environment you control entirely: temperature, humidity, photoperiod and odour. That is exactly what an indoor grower needs to deliver consistent results harvest after harvest.
