The SpectraPANEL X160 performs at its best inside a 60 × 60 cm grow tent. With the 60° lens, position the light approximately 40 cm above the canopy during flowering for maximum light penetration. During the vegetative stage, switch to the 120° lens and reduce the distance to 30 cm for even coverage that promotes balanced vegetative development.

Managing light cycles

During the vegetative phase, set your timer to 18 hours of light per day. Switch to 12 hours to trigger flowering. For autoflowering varieties, maintain a 20-hour cycle from seed to harvest. Reducing intensity via the dimmer during the early stages protects young seedlings from excessive light stress — a small detail that makes a real difference to plant vigour.

Environment and ventilation

Thanks to its low power consumption, the X160 generates significantly less heat than an HPS light. An extractor fan rated at 100 to 200 m³/h is sufficient without a carbon filter. With filtration, opt for a 200 to 300 m³/h model to maintain optimal air circulation. This makes it far easier to control the temperature and humidity of your growing space.
