In a sealed space, still air is a grower's worst enemy. The Advanced Star industrial fan keeps your atmosphere in constant motion: it breaks up humidity pockets, eliminates hot spots under the lamp and mechanically strengthens your plants' stems. A steel chassis, three speeds and two diameters cover everything from a compact tent to a full grow room.

The golden rule: never blow directly and continuously onto foliage. Aim the airflow above the canopy to create general air movement, or point it at a wall so it bounces back and stirs the whole volume. During vegetative growth, a gentle sway in the stems is enough to trigger thicker cell walls, so plants become sturdier and cope better with the weight of flowers. Standing on the floor, the Advanced Star also tackles the cool, damp layer of air that stagnates beneath your pots, an often-overlooked zone where mould takes hold.
The balanced blade delivers a steady flow throughout the growing space. No more dead zones where humidity builds and temperature climbs unnoticed: the atmosphere stays uniform from floor to canopy.
The base and anti-tip construction prevent accidental falls, a genuine concern in a space crowded with pots and ducting. The fan stays stable even at full speed, with no unwanted vibration through the floor.
Built to run for long hours without climbing in temperature, the motor limits the heat it adds to a space where every degree matters. Essential when the fan runs continuously through flowering.
At 58 to 62 dB depending on speed, the Advanced Star stays within an acceptable range for home use. The balanced blade cuts the whistling and resonance typical of budget fans.
Metal grille and chassis stand up to high humidity and knocks, where plastic cracks and yellows. Equipment built to last several grow cycles in a demanding environment.
The Ø 30 cm, 55 W model comfortably covers a standard grow tent up to roughly 1.2 × 1.2 m, refreshing the air without creating excessive turbulence. Beyond that, or in a whole room given over to growing, the Ø 45 cm, 120 W version takes over with a significantly higher air volume. In both cases the three speeds let you fine-tune the intensity: low speed for seedlings and delicate cuttings, high speed during heat peaks or in full flower.
A circulation fan is not an optional extra: it is the simplest and cheapest way to prevent mould, hot spots and weak stems in an enclosed growing space.
For a tent up to roughly 1.2 × 1.2 m, the Ø 30 cm, 55 W model is more than enough. For a larger space, a whole room or several tents to circulate, go for the Ø 45 cm, 120 W. A slightly oversized fan running on low beats an undersized one permanently pushed to maximum.
No. A direct, permanent flow onto foliage causes water stress and can burn leaf edges. Aim above the canopy or against a wall to create general circulation instead. You want a light, continuous movement in the leaves, not a wind tunnel.
At 58 to 62 dB depending on the selected speed, it sits in the normal range for grow fans. On speed 1 it stays discreet and works well in a living space or a cupboard near a bedroom. The balanced blade limits vibration and unwanted noise.
Yes, and it is strongly recommended. Plugged into a reversible thermostat socket, the fan switches on automatically above a set temperature, so it never runs needlessly. Paired with a humidistat it becomes an active defence against excess humidity late in flowering.
