The SpectraBULB X30 mixes deep red, blue, warm white and IR wavelengths to cover the entire cycle from seedling to harvest. No need to swap bulbs between phases: a single LED carries your plants all the way through.
30 W of well-placed horticultural LEDs do the work of an 80 W fluorescent tube. Across a full grow cycle, the pack draws under 35 kWh — around €7 to keep a mother plant healthy for 90 days.
E27 cable with switch, ceramic socket, EU-standard plug: screw in, plug in, switch on. No wiring to pull, no ballast to install, no cooltube to fit.
Where a 250 W HPS sits at over 200 °C, the BloomLED horticultural LED stays warm at most. Your seedlings won't scorch, your tent stays comfortable and the extractor barely has anything to evacuate.
BloomLED designs its bulbs in La Rochelle, manufactures them to spec and tests every batch before shipping. Returns are handled by our French support team — no offshore call centre.
Many "complete" packs forget the pots, the clamps or the duct. The BloomLED Top Budget Pack ships with every part — there's nothing else to buy before your first power-on.
The 40 × 40 footprint is the reference format for starting indoor growing without committing to a full setup: it fits in a wardrobe, under a stair, in a quiet corner of an office. It's also ideal for keeping a mother plant, mass cloning, or maintaining culinary herbs through winter. For flower runs, plan 1 to 2 plants depending on training. If you need more, our 80×80 and 100×100 packs sit further down the page.
👉 The most complete starter LED grow pack under €250, ordered as one SKU — no cart-juggling, no missing parts.
1. Tent — Unfold the steel frame and clip the bars. Slide the mylar canvas around, zip it shut. 2. Ventilation — Mount the extractor at the top, run the duct to the exhaust port. 3. Light — Screw the SpectraBULB X30 onto the E27 cable, hang it 30–50 cm above the canopy. 4. Substrate — Fill the pots, drop in your clones or seedlings, plug everything in. Switch on the LED. Done.
One to two flowering plants depending on training (LST, SCROG, mother plant). For cloning or culinary herbs, you can fit 4 to 6 young plants. Rule of thumb: one mature plant per 0.1 m². The 40×40 is 0.16 m², which leaves room for a well-trained mother plant or two short-flower-cycle plants.
Is 30 W of LED really enough for a full grow?Yes, as long as you respect the surface-to-power ratio. Across 0.16 m², 30 W of high-efficiency horticultural LED delivers about 200 µmol/m²/s of PPFD at canopy centre — consistent with vegetative growth or light flowering. To boost flower yields, add a second SpectraBULB X30 or move up to one of our larger packs.
Does the LED run as hot as an HPS?No, and that's the whole point. A 30 W LED produces less than 25 W of effective heat versus 250 W or more for a 250 W HPS. You can hang the bulb 30 cm above the canopy without burn risk, and the included extractor easily holds the tent at 24–26 °C under full load.
Is the pack discreet? How much noise does it make? The tent is light-tight (600 D mylar canvas + reinforced zips). The included extractor is sized for a 40×40 and runs under 30 dB on its lowest speed — about as loud as a whisper. For even more discretion, add a soundproof box or a carbon filter at the exhaust.
What happens if the SpectraBULB X30 fails?2-year BloomLED warranty. Send the bulb back, we test it within 48 h on our French premises and ship a replacement. Support is in French/English, reachable by email or phone, and handled directly by the BloomLED team — no offshore middleman.
