Several layers of sound-absorbing wadding wrap around a perforated aluminium core: sound waves enter the wall and decay inside the insulation instead of bouncing back into the room.

Does this duct replace a dedicated silencer?
It acts like a silencer spread over 3 m: for a compact 125 mm setup it is often enough on its own. On very powerful extractors or exposed rooms, pair it with a downstream silencer to reach total silence.
Compatible with a standard 125 mm fan?Yes — the 127 mm inner diameter is sized to slide directly over 125 mm outlets from the main brands (TT, RVK, GSE, etc.). A single hose clamp gives you an airtight seal.
