The Pure Factory PF carbon filter - Ø200 1125 m³/h is designed for demanding growers who want to ensure powerful air exchange while maintaining optimal air quality in their indoor garden. With a high nominal flow rate of 1125 m³/h, this filter is ideal for setups requiring efficient and unobstructed air extraction, guaranteeing optimal odor control and improved plant health. Easy to install and equipped with advanced technology, it's an essential piece of equipment for any serious indoor grow operation.
The PF - Ø200 carbon filter must be used in conjunction with a specific 200 mm diameter extractor fan and ducting system to prevent excessive pressure loss. It is essential to verify that your extractor fan's nominal flow rate is compatible with the filter's 1125 m³/h capacity to ensure a perfect balance between filtration and air circulation.
For effective installation, securely attach it to your extraction system, ideally downstream of your extractor fan. It is also recommended to pair this filter with high-performance fans and suitable grow lights, such as those featured in our comprehensive guide on choosing LED lighting for indoor growing .
To maintain optimal efficiency, it is essential to regularly replace the two integrated pre-filters. These protect the activated carbon from dust and particles, thus preventing rapid clogging. Regular visual inspection and light dusting of the filter also help to extend its lifespan and ensure consistent filtration quality.
In a standard environment without excessive humidity, this filter can last several years before the activated carbon needs to be completely replaced. Avoid exposing it to very high humidity levels (>70%), which could reduce the effectiveness of the activated carbon.
