What grow volume does this 160 mm fan cover?
At 800 m³/h on high speed it suits medium to large grow rooms. For proper air renewal, aim to turn over your room's volume several times per hour; the 420 m³/h setting fits smaller spaces or cooler periods.
Can I use it with a fan speed controller?No. This model has its own two-speed switch and is not compatible with an external thermostatic controller or variable-speed regulator. You set the power directly via the built-in switch.
Do I need a carbon filter with this fan?To neutralise odours, pair it with a Ø160 mm carbon filter placed upstream. The fan then draws air through the filter and exhausts deodorised air. Plan for matching-diameter ducting to connect everything.
