Avoid deep-rooted root vegetables (long carrots, parsnips) that need more volume. For heavier feeders like cherry tomatoes, stick to one plant per pocket.
How do I water a vertical living wall efficiently?Water from the top down, in two or three gentle passes, so gravity feeds the lower pockets. The fabric breathes a lot: indoors, plan to water 2–3 times a week depending on season; outdoors in full sun, switch to a light daily watering.
