What LED wattage fits a Homebox Q100?
For 1 m², target 200–320 W of full-spectrum modern horticultural LED, which yields around 600–900 µmol/s total PPF. Dim to 60 % during veg, ramp up to 100 % in flower — the sweet spot for consumption / yield.
Which extractor for the Ø200 mm outlet?A 200 mm extractor of 600–800 m³/h with speed controller is ideal. Pair it with a 200 mm carbon filter to neutralise odours. The roof exhaust naturally evacuates hot air.
How many plants fit in a Q100?In standard flowering: 4 to 9 plants in 11–18 L pots, depending on method (SOG, SCROG, mother). In veg or cuttings: up to 16–24 plants in mini-pots. The 1 m² format remains the best yield/discretion compromise.
Does the fabric really block light?Yes. Homebox outer black fabric is 100 % opaque under normal growing conditions. Zippers are doubled with velcro flaps to prevent any light leak during the dark cycle in flowering.
How much usable height remains once fully equipped?Out of 200 cm, count around 25 cm for the lamp and reflector, 10–15 cm for the pot. That leaves about 150–160 cm of usable height — more than enough for indicas and most scrog-trained sativas.
