Mastering your nutrient solution drives 80 % of your final yield. The Milwaukee MW804 combo meter measures the four essential parameters of your water in a single dip: pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS) and temperature. Engineered for the demands of professional hydroponics, it brings benchtop reliability into a rugged pocket format — selected by BloomLED for growers who leave nothing to chance.

| Parameter | Range | Resolution | Accuracy |
|---|---|---|---|
| pH | 0.00 to 14.00 pH | 0.01 pH | ±0.1 pH |
| Conductivity (EC) | 0 to 3999 µS/cm | 1 µS/cm | ±2 % F.S. |
| TDS | 0 to 2000 ppm | 1 ppm | ±2 % F.S. |
| Temperature | 0.0 to 50.0 °C | 0.1 °C | ±0.5 °C |
No more juggling separate devices. Dip the probe and read pH, EC, TDS and temperature instantly on the wide LCD screen. A real time-saver when you monitor several reservoirs or grow trays daily.
±0.1 pH and ±2 % on EC: tolerances comparable to benchtop meters. Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) corrects thermal drift for reliable readings, summer or winter, in any growroom.
Three buffer sachets ship in the box: pH 4.01, pH 7.01 and EC 1413 µS/cm solution. A two-point pH calibration ensures accuracy across every cultivation phase, from cloning to flowering.
Splash-resistant housing and a combined pH/EC/temperature probe designed for intensive use. Perfect for hydroponic systems, aquaponics, recirculating nutrient solutions or coco/soil cultivation.
Four LR44 batteries (included) deliver around 100 hours of continuous use. Auto-shutoff preserves the battery and the protective cap keeps the electrode hydrated between measurements.
💡 BloomLED tip: in hydroponics, check pH daily and EC every time you add nutrients. A 0.5 pH drift can lock out several essential elements. The MW804 gives you the precision to intervene at the right moment.
For daily use, a weekly calibration is enough in standard cultivation. For intensive production or heavily loaded solutions, recalibrate every 2 to 3 days. Always recalibrate after replacing the batteries or after the meter has been unused for several weeks.
Can the meter stay submerged permanently in the reservoir? No. The MW804 is a spot-measurement instrument designed for quick readings. For continuous monitoring, choose a dedicated reservoir probe. After each measurement, rinse the probe with deionised water and store the tip in the supplied storage solution or a small amount of KCl.
What target values should I aim for in indoor hydroponics? In vegetative growth, target a pH between 5.8 and 6.2 and an EC of 1.2 to 1.8 mS/cm. In flowering, pH stays similar (5.8-6.3) while EC can climb from 1.8 to 2.4 mS/cm depending on strain and stage. The MW804 delivers these readings with the precision needed to fine-tune your nutrient mix.
How does it differ from a simple pH tester?A basic pH tester only measures one parameter. The MW804 adds EC (ionic concentration of your solution), TDS (dissolved matter in ppm) and temperature, which directly affects electrochemical readings. To run a serious indoor cultivation, these three complementary data points are essential.
