How do I dose 3ACID Down?
Add it gradually, in small doses, to your nutrient solution, mix, then measure with a calibrated pH meter until you reach 5.5–6.5 depending on your substrate. Handle with care: acidic product.
Why lower the pH of a nutrient solution?Above 6.5, nutrients such as iron and phosphorus become insoluble and plants develop deficiencies. A stable pH guarantees optimal uptake and vigorous plants.
