How often should I calibrate my pH meter?

How long does the buffer keep after opening?Sealed, the buffer keeps for ~24 months from manufacturing date. Once opened, close the bottle tightly and use within 6 months to preserve accuracy. Store at 5–30°C, away from direct sunlight.
