Which grow tent size is this kit designed for?
This 125mm kit is ideal for 80x80, 100x100 and up to 120x120 cm grow tents. For a larger setup (150x150 and above), look at our 150mm Complete Extraction Kit. Beyond that, you will need multiple fans or a 200 mm diameter solution.
Should I keep the fan running 24/7?In flowering with a powerful LED grow light, yes: ventilation should run around the clock to exhaust heat and refresh CO2. During veg or cloning you can wire it to a thermostat or timer so it only kicks in above a set temperature (typically 25-26 °C).
When should I replace the activated carbon filter?A quality activated carbon filter on a standard flowering cycle lasts 12 to 18 months. Efficiency drops if the filter is exposed to humidity above 70% for extended periods. Sign it is time to replace: odours slowly returning at the fan outlet despite correct airflow.
Can I slow the fan down to make it quieter?Yes. The TT 125 fan is compatible with standard electronic speed controllers. At 50-60% of its maximum speed, noise drops below 30 dB while still delivering enough air renewal for a moderate indoor grow. Perfect for apartment growing without disturbing the household.
Is the kit compatible with my BloomLED LED lights?Absolutely. This kit is designed to work with the full BloomLED horticultural lighting range, including Samsung LM301 full spectrum bars, quantum boards and E27 LED bulbs. With LEDs, heat output is lower than HPS, so a 125mm kit is more than enough for tents up to 120x120 cm.
