Natures Candy by REMO Nutrients is a concentrated root biostimulant built around two complementary organic fractions: humic acid and fulvic acid. Designed for the vegetative growth phase, it works simultaneously on substrate quality and on the plant's ability to absorb what you feed it. At BloomLED we added it to our Remo Nutrients selection because it answers a very concrete indoor growing problem: nutrients that are correctly dosed but poorly assimilated. Available in 1 L, 5 L and 20 L, it suits the hobby grower and professional production volumes alike.

Humic acid is a high molecular weight molecule. Its action takes place mainly at substrate level: it raises the cation exchange capacity (CEC), meaning the medium's ability to hold nutrient cations such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and ammonium and release them gradually to the roots. In practice this limits leaching and keeps element availability stable between feeds.
Fulvic acid is a low molecular weight molecule. Its small size lets it cross cell walls and act inside the plant itself. Its key role is chelating micro-elements: iron, zinc, manganese, copper and boron. These trace elements are essential to photosynthesis but precipitate easily when pH drifts. Fulvic acid keeps them in an assimilable form and speeds their transport to the foliage.
The value of Natures Candy lies in that complementarity: many products on the market offer only one fraction, whereas here you address both the root environment and the plant's physiology.
Natures Candy is used during the vegetative growth phase, from recovery after cloning or transplanting through to the flip into flowering. This is when the plant builds its root architecture: the denser that network, the larger the exchange surface available for flowering.
It is applied through watering, diluted into the nutrient solution, and works equally well with hand watering and automated fertigation, drip systems included. It is compatible with the full Remo Nutrients range as well as most third-party schedules. For dosage, refer to the Remo Nutrients feeding chart, which adjusts quantities to substrate and week of the cycle.
A BloomLED tip: add Natures Candy after your base nutrients, then adjust pH last. Humic acids have a slight effect on solution pH, and this order avoids a cascade of corrections.

In soilless growing the assimilation window is narrow. The substrate does not act as the buffer that open ground provides, and the smallest pH or EC drift quickly shows up as a visible deficiency. By raising the medium's cation exchange capacity, Natures Candy creates a form of nutritional memory: cations stay available around the roots for longer, smoothing out the swings between two fertigations.
The effect is doubly useful in coco, where the fibres carry exchange sites naturally saturated with potassium and sodium; regular humic acid input makes the substrate far more predictable across a cycle. In soil the benefit is more about structure and microbial life, humic acid acting as a carbon support for beneficial bacteria.
The 1 L size suits home grow spaces, typically one or two 100 x 100 cm tents run over a full cycle. The 5 L is aimed at regular growers or small operations running back-to-back rotations without wanting to reorder every cycle. The 20 L is a professional format designed for grow rooms, nurseries and facilities running centralised fertigation.
Cost per litre improves markedly on the larger containers: if your consumption is steady and storage conditions are sound, moving to 5 L or 20 L delivers real savings across a year. The BloomLED team can help you estimate your consumption from your canopy area and watering frequency.
A single formulation covers substrate improvement and intracellular micro-element uptake, where most products act on only one lever.
Iron, zinc and manganese stay assimilable even when solution pH drifts slightly off target, limiting the classic interveinal deficiencies.
One product for all your growing media, with no need to rework your schedule when you switch substrate or method.
A concentrated liquid formulation that dilutes without residue, suited to drip systems, dosing pumps and recirculating reservoirs.
From 1 L to trial it up to the professional 20 L, without changing product or relearning a dosage as your canopy grows.
An organically derived formulation that also feeds substrate microbial life, an asset for soil-grown or organic-leaning setups.
It is formulated and optimised for the vegetative growth phase, when root development is the priority. There is nothing technically wrong with using it in early flowering to extend root work through the stretch, but for flowering proper a dedicated booster such as Remo Bloom or Astro Flower is the better choice. Refer to the Remo Nutrients schedule for exact timing.
Yes. Natures Candy is a biostimulant rather than a complete fertiliser: it complements an existing nutrient base, whatever the brand. As with any mix, add it after your base nutrients, stir the solution and check final pH before watering. Simply avoid mixing it in concentrated form with a strongly acidic or strongly alkaline product.
A standard root stimulator usually relies on hormones or seaweed extracts that trigger new root emission. Natures Candy works further upstream, on nutrient availability and uptake. The two approaches are complementary, which is why many growers pair Natures Candy with Velokelp, a kelp-based product, to cover both mechanisms.
Absolutely. It is one of the most forgiving products in the range: a slight overdose will not cause the root burn an excess of mineral fertiliser would. Start at the Remo Nutrients chart dosage, watch how your plants respond over two or three waterings, then adjust. The BloomLED team is available to guide you through your first cycle.
Keep the container closed, out of direct light and away from frost, in a room between 5 and 25 °C. Slight sediment or a shift in colour is normal for an organic formulation: shake before each use. Stored this way, a 5 L or 20 L pack keeps easily across several successive grow cycles.
Two complementary organic acids, three growing media covered, three pack sizes from 1 L to 20 L: Natures Candy Remo is the most versatile growth biostimulant in the Remo Nutrients range, and one of the strongest performance-to-price ratios in the BloomLED catalogue.
