Is this pack suitable for the flowering cycle?No, it is optimised for germination, seedlings and early vegetative growth (cuttings and young plants). For flowering, have a look at our larger Propagator XL packs or a dedicated flowering LED fixture.
Can I leave the SpectraLINE on 24/7?Technically yes, but it is not recommended. Young plants need a dark period to consolidate their metabolism. An 18 h ON / 6 h OFF cycle driven by the included timer delivers the best results.
How does this differ from pack 489 without timer?Pack 489 includes only the chamber and the two LED bars. Our pack 490 adds the mechanical timer and 96 Rootit cubes, ready to start without any extra purchases.
Are the SpectraLINE bars waterproof?No, this version is not water-resistant (non-IP65). If you plan frequent misting or a very humid environment, the IP65 version (pack 488) is better suited.
