The BloomLED 16 mm inlet is the must-have fitting that turns a plain tray into a true ebb & flow (flood) table. Screwed into the wall of your flood tray, it accepts a 16 mm semi-rigid PE pipe and routes the nutrient solution from the pump up to the medium — then back down to the reservoir. A small part, a critical role: its quality decides whether your whole hydroponic system stays dry on the floor.

Can I use it as an outlet / overflow?
Yes — the 16 mm inlet is fully reversible. On a flood table you usually fit two: one as a low inlet from the pump, the other as an adjustable overflow that sets the flood level. The exact same fitting works for both jobs.
Which pipe should I use with this inlet?The hydroponics standard: 16 mm semi-rigid PE pipe. Avoid soft 15 mm aquarium hose — it doesn't seal correctly in compression fittings. BloomLED stocks a ready-to-connect 50 m roll of 16 mm PE pipe.
